First Draft is a new contributor-led arm of Together at Last, launching soon. We’re creating a space for essays, poems, reflections, reviews and musical experiments that sit at the edge of culture.

  • We’d love to hear from you if:

    • You write essays, poetry, observational pieces or cultural commentary

    • You’re interested in themes like creativity, community, timing, personal growth, music, design or everyday life

    • You’re keen to contribute a one-off piece or occasionally rather than on a fixed schedule

    You don’t have to be “published”. We care more about voice than credentials.

Freelance Video Editor (Ad Hoc)

We’re looking for an editor who understands visual rhythm, pacing and emotion – someone who can shape footage into stories across both long-form and short-form work.

Content Creators/Jack of All Trades

We work with brands and artists who value considered visuals and honest storytelling. We’re always open to meeting people who are aligned with that.

  • You’ll work on:

    • Founder and brand interviews

    • Long-form storytelling and docu-style pieces

    • Short-form content for socials

    • Recuts of existing footage for new narratives

    • Occasional Fuzzer and music-led projects

    You might be:

    • An experienced editor wanting meaningful, craft-focused projects

    • A creator who’s confident in Premiere / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve

    • Someone who loves weaving together music, dialogue and visual texture

    • Comfortable working to clear deadlines with space for your own taste

    Remote is welcome — we’re Melbourne-based but edit partners can be anywhere.

  • You might:

    • Shoot digital, film, or both

    • Be comfortable capturing both polished and lo-fi content

    • Have a portfolio that leans into music, design, hospitality or culture

    • Enjoy collaborating on creative direction, not just executing a shot list
