Together at Last is a studio and creative community based in Melbourne, working across design, retail, music, culture and events. We’re building a network of thoughtful, talented people we can collaborate with as projects grow in 2026 and beyond.

If you’re a creator, producer, editor, writer or just deeply obsessed with good storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re not hiring in a traditional way – we’re building a curated roster of people we can bring into projects as they grow. Right now, we’re especially interested in:

A DIFFERENT KIND OF CREATIVE STUDIO

Together at Last is not an agency. We’re a small, evolving studio that sits at the intersection of content, digital, music and live experiences.

We work with brands we genuinely believe in – from interior studios and lighting designers to independent labels, hospitality spaces and artists. Our network also includes Fuzzer, our music platform, and a growing events arm that will come to life in 2026.

We’re building a community of collaborators who want to live creatively, work flexibly, and make things that actually feel like something.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (CASUAL)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organised person based in Melbourne to help us keep the studio running smoothly – from pre-production and shoot prep through to project logistics.

  • You’ll help with:

    • Scheduling shoots and managing calendars

    • Pre-production checklists and shoot prep

    • Organising assets, notes and project boards

    • General studio operations and assisting on shoots when required

    You might be:

    • A student, grad or early-career creative

    • Someone with a knack for planning and organisation who loves being around creative work

    • Comfortable juggling multiple small tasks without dropping the ball

Writers & Cultural Contributors

First Draft is a new contributor-led arm of Together at Last, launching soon. We’re creating a space for essays, poems, reflections, reviews and musical experiments that sit at the edge of culture.

  • We’d love to hear from you if:

    • You write essays, poetry, observational pieces or cultural commentary

    • You’re interested in themes like creativity, community, timing, personal growth, music, design or everyday life

    • You’re keen to contribute a one-off piece or occasionally rather than on a fixed schedule

    You don’t have to be “published”. We care more about voice than credentials.

Freelance Video Editor (Ad Hoc)

We’re looking for an editor who understands visual rhythm, pacing and emotion – someone who can shape footage into stories across both long-form and short-form work.

Content Creators/JACK OF ALL TRADES

We work with brands and artists who value considered visuals and honest storytelling. We’re always open to meeting people who are aligned with that.

  • You’ll work on:

    • Founder and brand interviews

    • Long-form storytelling and docu-style pieces

    • Short-form content for socials

    • Recuts of existing footage for new narratives

    • Occasional Fuzzer and music-led projects

    You might be:

    • An experienced editor wanting meaningful, craft-focused projects

    • A creator who’s confident in Premiere / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve

    • Someone who loves weaving together music, dialogue and visual texture

    • Comfortable working to clear deadlines with space for your own taste

    Remote is welcome — we’re Melbourne-based but edit partners can be anywhere.

  • You might:

    • Shoot digital, film, or both

    • Be comfortable capturing both polished and lo-fi content

    • Have a portfolio that leans into music, design, hospitality or culture

    • Enjoy collaborating on creative direction, not just executing a shot list
